Meet Our Pediatricians

I am a sun child for sure, having grown up here in Tucson. After spending time pursuing a meandering undergraduate education in New York City and throwing in multiple ‘gap year’ experiences travelling, I met my partner in life. We wandered our way into building a family of our own as well as completing medical school in Burlington, VT. After so much time on the east coast both city and country mouse style, I missed the clear skies and my family here in Tucson, so we returned to the desert for residency at the University of Arizona. 

I have an interest in working with medically underserved families and patients, as well as serving families with kiddos who have neurodevelopmental differences, completing an ArizonaLEND fellowship my final year of residency. I am also a National Health Service Corps scholar, and worked after residency with El Rio FQHC as a general pediatrician, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health care and adolescent/teen health. I am trained to support contraceptive needs and am experienced in placing IUDs, nexplanons, and discussing/prescribing other forms of contraception. 

I was attracted to Mesquite Pediatrics due to the well cultivated community of clinicians dedicated to care that is peaceful, efficient, unrushed, and comprehensive. I am grateful for the opportunity to join the Mesquite team and look forward to continuing to serve Tucson’s pediatric community. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, dancing, and travelling. I am proficient in Spanish.
